Dear FSL team,
we would like to know how missing values are treated in the FEAT analysis, for the different levels (first, second, group). For single subjects we have missing data points in the imaging data. How is this handled by FEAT? For historic reasons we are using FEAT 4.0.
Looking at the data and the mask images at the different levels, we have the feeling that if data are missing in one subject, these data points are excluded for all runs in the second level analyses and for all subjects in the group analyses. Is this correct? And why does FSL not produce an error message in these cases?
Is there an easy way to look for missing data points in a large sample? This would be really helpful.
In some second level and some group analyses, in the logfile, we get the error message “empty mask image”. However, this seems to be a different problem as we sometimes get this error message when data are complete as well as when data points are missing.
Thank you very much
Steffen
