Hello list.
I've had a good look and this issues doesn't seem to be addressed in previous posts:
Could you please explain exactly how the path length is calculated for the path length correction option in probtrackx. Is length as in number of steps, or actual physical distance?
Also - is there a way (without modifying the source code) of obtaining a path length distribution for a single voxel seed with single or multiple voxel targets - i.e. a list of path lengths, one for each streamline used to generate a given path distribution - rather than a single expected value? Or, alternatively/equivalently, is there a way of obtaining both the path-length corrected and non-path length corrected path distribution for the same single streamline (which I could then generate a distribution from by running #streamlines = 1 several times)?
What I'm really after is as direct a measure of the physical length of a given traced pathway as possible.
Thanks,
John
