Dear Christoph,
I can confirm this. The filenames returned by spm_defs may contain
unwanted trailing space, which confuses the batch system. If you feel
like editing spm_defs.m, you might want to change line 336 from
[pth,nam,ext] = spm_fileparts(fnames(i,:));
to
[pth,nam,ext] = spm_fileparts(deblank(fnames(i,:)));
This correction will also go into the next set of updates.
Best,
Volkmar

in this job I am not using multiple instances of "Deformations" to warp
all the images from different folders but one single instance of
"Deformations" instead with a multiple dependency to all images from
different folders. So, not the "Deformations" job has multiple instances
but the "apply to" branch does and exists 5 times..
In the dependency list, there is only one output from "Deformations" at
all: I can only select "Deformations: Warped Images"
Thats OK for me, but when I select this dependency for a following
smoothing job, only the warped files from the last "aply to"-branch will
be smoothed.
I have a work around by taking some file selectors (Batch Mode) instead
of the direct dependency from the "Deformations". This works fine. The
work around and the direct_dependency_job are both attached. The
"Deformations" job starts at row 101 in both files.
many thanks and kind regards,
Christoph
