You will join our Library and Information Service to make a significant contribution to our electronic service enhancement and general system support and delivery. This will include management of the SirsiDynix Symphony Library Management System and the provision of support for various e-resource management and other library systems.
You will have experience of managing an integrated Library Management System, knowledge of library related technical standards and protocols along with an understanding of, and a strong commitment to a customer focused library service.
You will be educated to degree level or equivalent with a postgraduate qualification in librarianship/information studies. This post requires a forward thinking mind, excellent communication skills and awareness and good understanding of developments in the area of Library technology. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team, and manage your own time and workload effectively.
