A one-day forum to provide solutions and guidance regarding the
storage and preservation of VHS recordings, while looking forward to
tomorrow’s technology and the future of off-air TV & radio recordings.
The day will provide a unique opportunity to listen to case studies
and presentations from leading experts in the field of off-air
recording, with the chance to put forward questions and share your
experiences with speakers and colleagues.
The day will end with a farewell drinks reception for Murray Weston,
as he retires from the position of Chief Executive at the BUFVC.
* Delegates do not need to have attended ‘Power of the VHS I’ to
attend this year’s forum. The event will open with a short summary of
previous content and discussion, before moving onto the full programme
which will build on last year's .
The registration fee is:
- £25 for premier and enhanced premier members
- £30 for standard BUFVC members
- £40 for non-BUFVC members
Date: Thursday 16 December 2010, 11am-4.30pm
Venue: Sparkbox, Hoxton Square, London
Lunch and refreshments will be included. The BUFVC’s formal Annual
General Meeting will also take place at lunch.
