Hopefully the Audit Commission will have an exit strategy that will cover ongoing access to their research and reports.
There's nothing on their website at present!
Incidentally, they have also blocked 'capture' of the 'deep' page referred to in the original post by the Internet Archive (Wayback Machine) so we can't use that route.

Subject: Preservation of Audit Commission reports
Dear all
As someone who once worked for the Audit Commission, I share the concerns about the availability of the Commission's reports. Some of the national reports are on the British Library catalogue, but I do not know if all of them are. Is there a role for the Third Sector Research Centre www.tsrc.ac.uk here?
There is also the question of what will happen to the Commission's book and publications stock...???...
Thanks
Julie
