Starting salary: £26,996 to £37,476,

The Institute of Cancer Research Clinical Trials and Statistics Unit
(ICR-CTSU) at The ICR, one of the world’s leading cancer research
centres, is looking for a motivated statistician to join its team. The
successful applicant will focus on the design and analysis of
radiotherapy trials within ICR-CTSU’s cancer trials portfolio. We
seek a talented, dynamic and resourceful individual to work on a number
of established trials including the IMPORT trials assessing dose
escalation and partial breast radiotherapy in early breast cancer and
the CHHiP trial comparing different radiotherapy schedules in prostate
cancer. There will also be opportunities to work on the development of
new studies.
Candidates for this post should have a background or demonstrable
interest in the analysis of large and complex clinical trial datasets
plus excellent communication and organisational skills. Applicants
should hold a relevant post-graduate degree or first degree.
Appointment will be on a fixed term 3 year contract in the first
instance and may be renewable depending on funding. This position is
funded by Cancer Research UK.
