Dear all,
the Young Statisticians Section of the Royal Statistical Society would like to advertise the next pre-ordinary meeting. The aim of Pre-Ordinary meetings is to make the read papers more accessible to PhD students, young statisticians and those not familiar with the area discussed in the read paper.
The meetings are held just before the Ordinary meetings and consist of two 30 min talks, one providing introduction to the area covered by the read paper and discussion of current problems, and the other giving a non-technical presentation of the read paper. Additional contributions are welcome in the form of posters following the talks.
