Hello,
I've tried removing external/fieldtrip, external/fileio,
external/forwinv and external/ctf as described here:
https://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/cgi-bin/webadmin?A2=SPM;7e8cc308.1007
This looks like a bad idea. Indeed:
* the latest version of spm8.zip still contains external/fieltrip and
external/ctf subdirectories so there will be a discrepancy between the
updated version and a pristine SPM8 installation using the latest spm8.zip,
* rebuilding SPM8 doesn't work because of the missing external/fieltrip
subdirectory:
$ make all
make: *** No rule to make target
`fieldtrip/fileio/private/mxDeserialize.mexglx',
needed by `all'. Stop.
$
Therefore I recommend avoiding spm8_updates_r4010.zip and updating SPM8
using the latest spm8.zip (reinstall from scratch).
