Dear Friends and Colleagues,
The 7th International Conference on Design & Emotion, October 4-7 in Chicago, is heading towards a smashing success in both its scientific and social program - truly the place to be!

We will be delighted if you can join us or if you can send someone from your school or research institute.

Our full program is online at http://www.id.iit.edu/de2010/des+emo-programs_advancedprogram.html . Our full announcement is provided below.

The biennial 7th International Conference on Design & Emotion is a forum where design practitioners, researchers, and industry leaders meet and exchange knowledge and insights concerning the cross-disciplinary field of design and emotion. The interdisciplinarity and internationalism of D&E 2010 participants are exceptional. Design & Emotion 2010 includes 126 paper presentations and 7 pre-conference workshops. Altogether, more than 370 authors from 26 countries have contributed to these works.

At the time of writing, we anticipate that 300 participants representing academic, design, and business communities will come together at Design & Emotion 2010. We would love to have a full house of 350 attendees to join us in lively dialogue at the cutting edge of knowledge about design and emotion.

Our formal registration deadline is September 28. However, we will be glad to accommodate all registrants who wish to attend, up to our capacity.

Warmest regards,

Judith Gregory
Design & Emotion 2010 Conference Chair
