Dear Colleagues
JISC Collections is pleased to announce a new agreement from BRILL which offers access to
the Bibliography of Arabic Books Online
Bibliography of Arabic Books Online is a bibliography and catalogue of books printed in Arabic script from the earliest printing activities in Arabic (c. 1730) until 1960. The records are based on Arab characters, with full authority control of romanized forms of names and places, as well as the western forms of the names, in accordance with major international standards (ISO, NACO, NAF).
This bibliography will ultimately contain approximately 65,000 titles of books and 15,000 authority records. Also biographical information about the authors will be added. The bibliography will be supplemented annually from various sources.
