About the vacancy
The School of Geography, Geology and the Environment at Kingston University is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in GIS for six months in the first instance from October 2010.
You will contribute to teaching in the School, mostly on GIS undergraduate programmes and our Distance Learning portfolio, but you will also contribute to other aspects of geographical and environmental courses as appropriate. In addition you will contribute to the management and administration of courses and help to create a supportive environment for students.
You will have a relevant post-graduate degree, experience of teaching in HE and the ability to communicate ideas and concepts to students. A track record in research would be desirable.
