I'm not sure how constructive it is looking at the PM's pay. Almost his
whole life is lived "in office" and therefore "all expenses paid" - some
consolation for being on continuous duty. He's also "independently
wealthy", which might actually be a good thing because it means he can
act without worrying about the financial burden of losing his job.
If all the other 9,000 people are in the same financial position as him,
it would make some sense to make the comparison; but I seriously doubt
that they are.
