*APOLOGIES FOR CROSS-POSTING*
We would like to invite you to the ‘Developing Data Management Expertise in Research’ workshop, which will take place in the afternoon of October 21st in London. This half-day workshop brings together speakers who are actively engaged in supporting the data management to share their experience of working with data creators and managers to embed data management expertise. This workshop will be of interest to Archivists who are now faced with born digital collections of research, institutional records or offered hybrid collections
The workshop will provide an opportunity for attendees to learn from best practice approaches that are beginning to emerge and discuss gaps in current data management provision where further investigation is needed. Speakers will reflect on the challenges faced by data creators in the institution, the strategies that have been adopted to address their needs and the resources that are available for wider use.
