InFER2011 is a 5 day conference on the use of statistical inference in epidemic control and risk management being held at the University of Warwick, 28th March to 1st April 2011.
It aims to draw together all those interested in analysing epidemic data, and using the results of those analyses to improve disease control.
Through the use of statistical inference, the conference will focus on bridging the gap between theoretical quantitative work on epidemics, and the data obtained from the field during disease outbreaks.
The conference is aimed at applied and theoretical statisticians as well as epidemiologists, we have a diverse line up of plenary speakers, as well as workshops on statistical analysis and applied aspects of the subject.
