Dear colleagues,
apologies for the impersonal mass mailout, and possible duplicate
mailings. I hope this event I'm organising will be of some interest to
some of you or people you know. Please note the fairly swift application
deadline, and that applicants must be researchers or doctoral students
registered with a UK HEI (this was a condition of funding).
All the best,
Michael
*Working creatively with sound and image: a collaborative
interdisciplinary learning workshop for researchers*
We are pleased to announce a week-long residential workshop for ten
researchers from UK universities who are experimenting with audio,
visual, site-specific and other creative methods in their work. Taking
place at Dundee Contemporary Arts (DCA www.dca.org.uk) from 22-26th
November 2010, this will be an opportunity to develop and share skills
in a supportive, collaborative environment.
Successful applicants will be provided with hotel accommodation, lunch
and an evening meal allowance each day, and funding of up to £100
towards travel costs.
The deadline for applications in Friday 24th September. Further
information about the event and how to apply can be found here:

We have been able to organise this thanks to a Vitae Innovate award. The
project is being administered by CRFR at the University of Edinburgh.
Please circulate this information to anyone who might be interested.
