We are looking to appoint a candidate to this post who brings either a theoretical background in journalism studies with a relevant academic specialism, or a professional track record in online journalism, and a familiarity the production, management and publication of online journalism, rich content and user-generated content. Candidates with proven expertise in both areas will be especially welcome. Familiarity with relevant technical applications would also be advantageous. A passion for the education of future industry practitioners and a willingness to work collaboratively and innovatively with colleagues across a range of disciplines is essential.
