Dear Subscribers,
Have you translated DC documentation?
If so we would like to hear of your experiences in publishing your DC
translations and distributing information about your translations.
This is the topic for the meeting of the DCMI Translation Task Group
being held 22 October at 16:00-17:30 at the DC2010 conference,
http://www.asis.org/Conferences/DC2010/
Your knowledge and experience will help develop the documentation for
those translating DC documents: "Guidelines for Dublin Core
translations” [1]
Agenda:
1. Discuss what happens now with DC Translations. How and where are
writers publishing their translators?
2. What are the issues locally and internationally?
3. Discussion on advice for DC translators when publishing translators.
4. Evaluate use cases
If you are not attending DC2010 we welcome information about
publishing
translations of DC documents in your locality - including links for DC
translations. Please send information to the moderators listed below.
We look forward to meeting you at DC2010!
