Hi all,
I hope this is not a blatant misuse of the list, however I received this from a colleague and wanted to forward it on to increase publicity and in the event you could attend.
Sincerest apologies if I have broken some forum rules.

Subject: 4Sight African & Caribbean men's project - we need your support
Dear all,
Many of you will be familiar with the work of Mellow and the 4Sight network of African and Caribbean men in Hackney (e.g. the Trailblazer project in which we used the Tree of Life approach). Sadly, the funding for the 4Sight projects has been cut, resulting in the loss of the 4Sight co-ordinator and mentoring co-ordinator posts (see article below from the Hackney Gazette).
http://www.hackneygazette.co.uk/news/funding_blow_to_mental_health_project_for_black_men_in_hackney_1_598356
However, the 4Sight members have decided to form a committee themselves to continue the projects they value so much. There will be a fundraising event on 25th Sept. 7 – 10 with many exciting performances (please see attached flyer). Tickets are only £5 waged and £3 concessions. Please let me know if you would like some & please circulate the flyer to anyone you think might be interested.
Hope to see you there,
Best wishes
Angela
