Hi Sheauran,
You may have already done this, but if you go on the conservation register www.conservationregister.com you can search for accredited organic conservators in your area. Most list examples of recent work they have undertaken and you could contact these museums for references.
Goodluck, they sound like lovely interesting objects!

Dear all,
I am wondering if anybody has any recommendations for organics
conservators (preferably up North near Yorkshire area). I am looking to
get some quotes on conserving these objects:
1) Parka (inuit)
2) Large wooden Japanese shrine cabinet with small goddesses figurines
inside
3) Zulu shield (hide)
4) Set of 28-30 Japanese dolls with porcelain faces, possibly human hair
and silk costume (late 19th - early 20th Century)
Many thanks,
Ran
