I just wasted several hours of my life doing the "Homes and Gardens" Hunt - 50
shops in all. In case anyone is interested I rezzed EVERYTHING I got in the
hunt in a corner of Infolit iSchool.
http://slurl.com/secondlife/Infolit%20iSchool/216/197/22/
There are numerous smallish houses, skyboxes, a garage, lots of tables and
chairs, a waffle maker etc etc and some of it is very good quality. I thought I
would broadcast this, since if you see something you like you can then look who
the creator is (e.g. using Inspect), look in their Picks for a teleport to
their shop, go to the relevant shop and get it for free.
*The hunt ends on 7th August* (it was just a week long)
The items are all no transfer *so I can't give anyone anything*, I was just
mentioning this since this hunt is a good opportunity to pick up some nice free
stuff.
It is everything in this corner of the sim, on the ground and in the air
close-ish to the ground/sea (apart from the model of the 7 pillars of
information literacy)
The official hunt website is at http://slhousegardenhunt.wordpress.com/ (where
you can see a picture of the hunt item) (BTW I am nothing to do with the hunt)
You are looking for a little house as the hunt object, they are all for sale
for zero Linden. Some of them are fairly obvious, but for some you really do
have to hunt and cam round the shop to find the item.
If you don't want the, ahem, fun, of actually hunting for it in the shop, then
someone helpfully gave the direct links and a hint for each item on her blog
http://stephanieleclerc.blogspot.com/2010/08/httpslurl.html - HOWEVER she gives
the hunt numbers not the shop names, so you would need to go to the shop, and
work out which SLURL location corresponds.
