Somebody has bought the web addresses
LondonScienceFestival.co.uk, .com and .org
.com redirects to Facebook.
Maybe it is a subtle case of viral marketing.
London could use such an event. It was nice to see the "Science in London"
brochure at the Royal Society's Southbank parties.

Subject: [PSCI-COM] London Science Festival?
Hello Psci-commers,
Has anyone seen this or know anything about it?
http://www.facebook.com/londonsciencefestival?v=wall I can't find any
information anywhere and the people on here don't seem to be very
forthcoming with details other than the website is launching in the autumn.
Someone is starting up a London Science Festival but it doesn't say who. It
also says that they have been inviting HE institutions and museums to be
partners but, asking around, no one seems to know anything about it...i'm
sure there are loads of people who would want to get involved in this.
It all seems a bit secretive so sorry if I'm "outing" the organisers, just
would be quite interested to find out more.
Thanks, Joanna
