Hi Alan,

The Royal Society of Chemistry has a number of resources/projects aimed at school science teaching at various levels. Further information can be found at www.rsc.org/education

Although it is not at the school level, we also have an online resource for undergraduates/universities called 'Discover Maths for Chemists'
http://www.rsc.org/Education/DiscoverChemistry/DiscoverMathsforChemists.asp which brings together all the best resources to help combine maths and chemistry.

I hope this helps,

Alison

Subject: [PSCI-COM] Current projects in Science Education

Dear PSCI colleagues,
Can you help?
I will be in Malaysia for a month Sep 24 onwards giving lectures to
faculty and students at UTM mainly in maths education. Several of the
student courses, however, are in maths/science education (Malaysia has
recently introduced an Integrated Curriculum in their schools) and it
would be great to mention to them some live ongoing innovative science
projects aimed at school science teaching. Please send any web links
about projects/courses that you feel would be useful for them to know
about to include in the lectures and/or the background documentation.
Thanks for any assistance,
Alan Rogerson
