Hi Annette,

Just wanted to pick up on your point about devolved permissions and sending out of manual permissions.

Devolved permissions does not replace the manual invite process and introduction of the feature does not remove the ability to send out the invites. Customers can choose to move to devolved permissions at a pace of their choosing or not at all if the feature doesn't fit strategically with Aspire roll out plans.

Talis Support are currently looking into why the invite emails have not been received in your case, but I can assure that no changes were made to the function of the manual invite process in the development and release of devolved permissions.

Thanks,

Chris

Thanks Ian,

We hope to be able to use devolved permissions in the long term, but, as

you say, it will take some initial investment our end to set this up

effectively. In the meantime, we will be sending out manual invites to

academics. However, since the devolved permissions story went live in

Aspire, we have not been able to send out manual permissions. I've set up a

call on Talis Support to investigate.
