Dear Edward
I am sure you will find passionate volunteers for your project. I am more
interested in some organisational issues.
I wonder:
- how many volunteers you require for how many items to be catalogued by when;
- what type of effort / investment is needed to coordinate volunteers who are
supposed to catalogue books for "half a day each week" OR, said in other terms,
in which ways inefficiencies are prevented in such a process shared among many
people with (presumably) diverse background, skills and experiences. Have you
already formalised a policy addressing these issues?
- If you can suggest cases / lessons learned from Museums that have
adopted Adlib platform so far.
Thank you very much indeed.
Regards
Brunella Longo
