Hi,
the JPackage repo problem is not solved.
On the gLite Generci instalaltion & Configuration guide (
https://twiki.cern.ch/twiki/bin/view/LCG/GenericInstallGuide310#jpackage_and_the_JAVA_repository)
there is a note:
*IMPORTANT NOTE*: jpackage repo files are broken for SL4. Please,
either create your own local copy of jPackage or use the rpm lists from
www.glite.org to manually install the needed jPackage packages.
This means that you should look at
http://glite.web.cern.ch/glite/packages/R3.1/deployment/lcg-CE/3.1.40-0/lcg-CE-3.1.40-0.rpm.list.txt,
download on the local machine all the rpms mentiones after:
# -------------------------------------------------------
# Packages from Jpackage repository
# -------------------------------------------------------
and then do a "yum localinstall *"
This in case of a new installation.
Otherwise, in case of just an update you should disable first the
jpackage.repo ("mv /etc/yum.repos.d/jpackage.repo
/etc/yum.repos.d/jpackage.repo.disabled") and only after that run the
"yum update"
All the Best,
Cristina
