Asset Surveyor (Permanent Contract) Based: Croydon, South London – But required to travel across South London.
Salary: £22,500 - £23,000 per annum
EnterpriseMouchel is a Highways Maintenance Works Contractor providing management, commercial and road network engineering services for local authorities, The Highways Agency and Transport for London (TfL).
We require an Asset Surveyor to assist in collating and updating TfL’s New Asset Management System (NAMS).
Main duties include:
• Maintenance of the asset inventory using a GIS mapping software and survey hardware.
• Daily surveying of the TfL South Network including changes to the network in accordance with acceptable targets.
• Ensure that all work is carried out in highly accurate, comprehensive manner and within the correct time frame.
• Cleaning and upkeep of data before and after upload to the internal database from handheld device.
• Actively promote Health and Safety in the workplace, setting a good example to other employees and ensuring that general Health and Safety responsibilities as set out.
Skills required:
• Experience with ESRI or MapInfo products or any other mapping software.
• Basic knowledge of Transport for London Road Network and the South London road network.
• Working knowledge of GIS digitisation and manipulation.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Experience of on site surveying would be a bonus.
• You will be required to work across the 9 London Boroughs which we cover, this includes:- Richmond, Kingston, Merton, Sutton, Bromley, Bexley, Lewisham, Croydon and Greenwich making your way to sites either by public transport or own transport.
