Could be laggy and not vey impressive to the student. You would have to try it, with the option of spending £40 (?) on a 2GB stick of RAM if it's a netbook.
Definitely USB headset though.

Actually, I wasn't thinking straight when I posted my original message - I won't actually train with the 1 gig machine, I'll use it demo Dragon when carrying out a study needs assessment. The training itself would happen on the student's own high spec machine.
Do you think a 1 gig notebook (with a high spec usb headset) be good enough for that?
