sadly there's not a rabbit in Leland's <Gypsy Sorcery and Fortune
Telling> perhaps he omitted mentioning them in solidarity with sailors
and Portland quarrymen. Elworthy also omits all mention in his handy
manual, <The Evil Eye>. Significant omissions?
