congratulations for this achievement. in addition i can say that AOM this year had a couple of good sessions ( with Steve present and active of course) . Seems that the artful ideas are trickleing down and, to paraphrase Ed Scheins take on our enterprise, the need for creative ways to find aesthetic cracks in the bureaucracies and set social orders seems greater than ever

Subject: Leadership as Art
Just to engage in a bit of shameless self promotion, I’d like everyone to know that the latest issue of “Leadership” is a special issue on leadership as art. There’s a vodcast about the issue at:
http://lea.sagepub.com/content/suppl/2010/08/13/6.3.235.DC2/sageIII.mp4
The special issue is available at:
http://lea.sagepub.com/content/vol6/issue3/?etoc
Taken as a group, I think the articles make a real contribution to our thinking about leadership as art. I encourage everyone to take a look at it.
Cheers,
Steve
