PERTH POETRY CLUB ARTIST INFO*
ROSE VAN SON loves playing with words on the page - her poetry runs windward
from haiku to culture. Recently she was a featured guest poet at Voicebox.
ROB GREENWOOD describes himself as a philosopher and student of human
nature. For 30 years he was a business owner and was active in community
groups. Then he changed direction to become an environmental activist,
social issues writer, corporate-media-control cynic, 'defamer',
sustainability advocate, bush, art lover, dad and grandad. His work has been
published in local and interstate newspapers, Urban Bush Telegraph and
Quaker News. He has performed his poetry at many local poetry events,
festivals and slams.
KATE WILSON’s poems are written to be heard, seen and felt. She has always
written, but began slamming her poetry in 2008. Since then, Kate has been a
state finalist in the Australian Poetry Slam twice, and has featured at many
events in Perth and Bunbury, as well as jumping up at any open mic she can
get her hands on. Kate wants to intrigue and inspire you. Get ready to hear
rhymes that will tingle your spine. Kate will be launching her chapbook,
'Unspoken'.
