A cat that once lifetime lodged with us would go crazy with desire in the
presence of that vegetarian piece de resistance, the lentil cutlet. It would
leap vertically from the floor almost the whole height of a table leg only
to fall back just short like a spent stage of a rocket. I'd keep telling it
'you're a carnivore - you're not supposed to go for these' , but to no
avail.
Curious that, but then again it was the only tabby in a black-and-white
litter, so ...
