Free training day Supporting Learning: a guide to thinking creatively
about funding for learning services and projects

Funding museum education programmes, projects and core work can be a
challenging task, particularly in the current economic climate. In this
interactive one-day session participants will be introduced to a range of
funding models for museum education. The course will cover income generating
activities such as hiring out services, effective partnership working and a
framework for commissioning as well as the basics of fundraising through
trusts, foundations and individual donors. All of this will be set in the
context of a simple fundraising plan. The day will provide the opportunity
for learning and sharing with others seeking solutions to their funding
needs.
