Hi all,
I have a question regarding the use of the mean_FA_symmetrised_skeleton_mask file for randomise following tbss_sym.
Since the all_FA_skeletonised_left_minus_right file has the right side of the skeleton zeroed and all relevant information is contained on the left side, is it theoretically too statistically conservative to use the mean_FA_symmetrised_skeleton_mask file as a mask for randomise since this includes the now-irrelevant right side? In other words, does using the bilateral skeleton mask result in randomise controlling for twice as large a number of voxel-wise comparisons than is necessary since all information is contained on the left half of the all_FA_skeletonised_left_minus_right images? If so, is there a way to use only the left portion of the mean_FA_symmetrised_skeleton_mask file as a mask for randomise?
Thank you very much.
