HUMAN FACTORS JOB DESCRIPTION
Background:
HP Large Format Printing division develops best in class large format printers for a broad range of markets and needs worldwide, being the first outstanding world wide supplier in this segment.
We are looking for a Human Factors/Ergonomist to join our Customer Experience team in Barcelona. This is an excellent opportunity to work with leading edge technology with multiple HP organizations and partners world-wide.
This position involves experimental planning, concept development and demonstrations, assessment of impacts and human performance benefits, metrics development and ergonomics assessments.
Responsibilities:
v Promote the transition from concepts to products by conducting user research to support design
v Deploy the results from customer research data analysis into the product's development.
v Define user experience requirements, metrics and goals for worldwide markets.
v Track user experience requirements fulfillment during the program development
v Plan and manage User Experience testing and validation activities over programs.
v Assure and measure that products' value proposition are adequately addressed along the different touch points of the customer interaction.
v Identify and mitigate critical human factors issues at every stage of the Product Development.
v Provide human factors support and solutions to Industrial Design and Product Development to ensure application of sound human factors and usability principals and methods to the development of our Large Format Printers.
v Provide leadership through demonstration, influence, skill and passion for work.
v Communicate overall Customer Experience status to the program
Qualifications:
- Human Factors and or Ergonomics degree.
- Working Experience of user/customer research.
- Strong Program Management and Interpersonal skills.
- Good presentation and reports generation skills.
- Fluent English.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience
- Work permit in Spain is a MUST
