Martha -
I don't know quite what to make of this. Do you mean that Millie had a video
on YouTube, and you were going to post a link, or embed the video, in the
SporkWorld blog, but it's disappeared? If so, could it just be a blunder
rather than censorship? Although I gather from what you're saying that the
video was to do with 4th July and freedom, and therefore rather political
and probably (knowing Millie's work) anti-establishment in tone. Have you
tried contacting Google? I've never tried it myself, and I don't imagine
they're very easy to contact.
I used to have AdWords advertising on my Hyperliterature Exchange website,
and Google pulled the plug on that very abruptly - they said there had been
suspicious multiple clicks on the adverts, which made them suspect that I
was cheating the system (which I wasn't) - but I didn't really like the ads
anyway, so I was pleased to be rid of them. But it illustrates that they can
be very high-handed in the way they deal with people sometimes.
Do you have the original file for the video, so that you can re-upload it if
you want to?
