Hi John,
If it just the database name that you have had to change then the only place you need to worry about is the ~/include/inc_global.php to set the APP_DB_DATABASE. After that WebPA will refer to the database tables without the database name prefix.

Subject: MySQL database name
Greetings
Beware here is an engineer with some IT experience but new to WebPA
I am investigating a trial of WebPA in one of my Group Design modules and the easiest thing seemed to be to set it up on my private personal webserver space (on BlueHost.com). This is very well supplied with MySQL, PHP and the other tools.
The problem I have hit is the name of the MySQL database. Bluehost insists on prefixing the user chosen name with <BlueHostUsername>_ to make all the databases globally unique.
It was an easy job to edit the pa_table.sql to replace 'pa' with 'userfoo_pa' and so set up the empty database.
How many other places in the .php does one have to look to get the different name used when WebPA is being set up and when it is running?
Or in other words is a database name other than 'pa' a deal-breaker.
Apologies if this is in the archives - my search did not find anything
