Hi,
Does anyone know some useful NFS configuration tricks we can use to
improve filesystem performance?
We have recently moved a VO software area back to NFS and we are
suffering from high latency when dealing with attribute intensive
operations arising from untarring large directory structures (and also
recursive chmod-ing) over an NFS mount.
There are many recipes available but I was wondering if there are any
tried and tested mount/sysctl options which other sites have applied?
Thanks for your help,
Andrew Washbrook.
