Hi Richard,
I've found and fixed the bug that caused the error
you reported. I've you want to use the fix, there are various options:
1) Use rsync to copy a pre-built starlink tree from JAC.
2) Build starlink yourself from source
3) Wait for the next official downloadable starlink release
4) I could try sending you a built binary for just the AST sharable
library (which is where the bug was). Fiddly, but it may work...
