Fast isn’t fast enough. When?
First I’ll go live under a tram for 2 years.
I can hear your blood flowing.
It’s my head emptying.
The tape’s lost already.
I don’t remember where I put it.
I don’t even know if I made a note where.
Sorry. Maybe it will come back.
My last wish.
A pizza?
No . . .
a pita.
With a “t” as in “too slow”.
We’re on the road together.
On the road to the light.
“Seek and ye shall find”.
He knew all along where the tape was.
The light. It was a hint. The neon, of course.
PITA, with the “T” of the sign dangling.
He knew. Flashing light.
Will it work or will he walk?
We’ll see.

Stumbled on a dvd of this film at my local public library. Had I viewed an one-time only screening at a movie theatre or an art museum, I might have been limited to four lines, since certain intriguing passages disappeared before I could record what I wanted to preserve. In this instance I could retrieve the lost language.
