The Department of Chemistry, University of Warwick, invites outstanding candidates to the position of Assistant Professor in Physical Chemistry.
The Department of Chemistry strives to provide outstanding educational opportunities for undergraduate and postgraduate students alongside world-class research in the Chemical Sciences. The Department is undertaking ambitious expansion plans that currently include construction of a £24M building for Materials and Analytical Science and recently completed new state-of-the-art undergraduate teaching laboratories.
As an Assistant Professor, you will have a proven track-record of internationally recognised research and will demonstrate potential to establish an independent research group of the highest quality.
You are strongly encouraged to apply if you have expertise in any area of Physical Chemistry and especially if your research will have the potential to contribute to campus-wide, multi-disciplinary activities such as Analytical Science, Energy, or Materials, or involve collaboration with other Departments e.g. Physics, Life Sciences, Engineering or Medicine.
You must be able to contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in Chemistry.
