Happy to be considered, Megan. I helped a bit with the design of the electronic discussion forum in 2007 and talked on value of Web 2.0 for informational professionals at our 2008 Annual Seminar. I often work from my home office so can be pretty flexible about putting in the effort when it's needed. Best wishes Dion

UKeiG Intranets Forum: Help wanted!!
The Intranets Forum is continuing to be a popular event for members and
we hope to continue to hold afternoon discussions on issues surrounding
intranets together with demonstrations by host organisations.
Unfortunately, Janet Corcoran, who has done a fantastic job in
organising these events, has had to stand down from this role and we are
looking for a new member who is willing to take on this task.
Are you able to help? You will be responsible for arranging venues,
speakers and demonstrations, usually recommended by or offered by the
membership. These free, informal gatherings take place approximately
every two months, usually in the afternoons, and the administration is
kept to a minimum.
Your reward will be an ideal networking opportunity to meet information
professionals involved with intranets, and the opportunity to encourage
the involvement of information professionals in the management and
development of intranets.
If you are interested helping UKeiG to manage this valuable forum,
please don't hesitate to contact Shaida using the details below and
hopefully we can begin to plan for the September Intranets Forum.
