Dear all,
The UKeiG committee are delighted that Dion has chosen to take over the running of the Intranets Forum, as this is something our members really benefit from. I would like to take this opportunity to welcome Dion to the team and introduce him to the wider UKeiG audience - which is why I have forwarded his email to this list
If you are interested in joining the forum (which is free to members), or are already a member and would like to suggest any subjects, venues etc, please get in touch with Dion
Kind regards, and good luck to Dion!
Megan

Subject: Introducing myself as new organiser of forum
Hi everybody
I'm very glad the UKeIG Committee has taken me up on my offer to run the forum after Janet. I've been a member of UKeIG for 4 years now (I talked on value of Web 2.0 for informational professionals at our 2008 Annual Seminar). As an independent consultant based in Northants I can be pretty flexible about putting in the effort when it's needed, and I have easy access to London and elsewhere for meetings.
I am aware that replacing Janet will take some doing! Early this week we are meeting to start the handover - so I should be able to post here on Wednesday about how that is going.
Meanwhile, please post me any ideas, requirements and so on for the forum - the quicker I hear from you all the quicker I can assimilate all you want me to know, and start communicating and organising etc!
Best wishes all
Dion
