Dear colleagues,
We recently announced our Aug 20-23 conference of 16 workshops on
applied research methods and skills, including such topics as Grant
Writing, Survey Design, Qualitative and Quantitative methodologies,
Quasi-Experimental Research Design, Cultural Competency, and topics in
Evaluation.
We are happy to say that these workshops are beginning to sell out, but
we'd still love to see a healthy representation from those interested in
Community Psych to have your voices as part of the conversation. These
workshops are available live onsite, and tend to draw an audience of
academics and professionals from around the globe to our campus. We're
also webcasting 8 of the 16 workshops live.
Also, we have added what promises to be a lively debate on systems
theories -- what they are, how they can affect evaluation practice, and
if "systems thinking" is a short-lived fad or a genuine breakthrough.
This debate is free and is open to the public, but please reserve a
"seat" at our website if you would like to attend.

Thank you! We hope to see many of you onsite or online next month.
