Yes I think it is to some degree. My fear and I have to say experience
of working in HE is that you tend to be very internal looking both
with your individual institutions but also in your sector.
I believe there is a lot of value in speaking with people who have
experince across multiple sectors.
Sorry if this sounds like a sales pitch. It's not meant to. I hope you
guys know me well enough to know that I am saying these things because
I sencerly believe them and not because I want to earn a few hundred
quid in monthly meetings. This is not going to make me rich!
