I checked The Janeites in The Storyteller a couple of years ago, and the
changes were indeed minimal. I may have a record of them somewhere.
The situation was very different with In the Interests of the Brethren,
the other story I checked. Kipling introduced many changes (some
significant, most just clarifying) into that story when he collected it
eight yerars after first publication. The Janeites was a much more
recent story, which is perhaps why he found less to amend.
