Mark
I think jisc collections need to say something about timescales for this change and how it will manage the changeover from one authentication to another - basically I think you need to meet the expectations that we have of the publishers or it doesn't really set a good example.
Thanks
Nicole

Subject: Re: New Jisc collections website (unfederated!)
Hi all,
The new JISC Collections website has gone live at http://www.jisc-collections.ac.uk
The website allows librarians to have a membership account enabling them to subscribe to resources online by adding a resource to a basket in a similar way to major online shopping sites. An account page lets individual librarians see what current subscriptions their institution has, and receive automatic reminders when a subscription is due to expire, an invoice for a subscription is overdue, or when a single payment deadline is due for NESLi2 offers. Account owners can now create sub-accounts which allow other members of staff to access the Membership Account and set permissions such as the ability to place subscription orders online.
JISC Collections will be adding federated access in the near future in addition to current login options.
If you have any questions regarding changes to the site please contact Brian Mitchell [log in to unmask] or Mark Williams [log in to unmask]
Hope that helps
Regards
Mark
