This year's colloquium runs from Thursday 9 September to Saturday 11
September, and we are very much looking forward to welcoming lots of
you to Sheffield. The programme for the event is attached to this
e-mail, and you will see that J.R. Firth and biography writing are two
particular focuses for this year's colloquium. The Leslie Seiffert
lecture will be given by John Joseph who is talking about his new
biography of Saussure.
Also attached is further practical information about the
colloquium--bookings, travel etc.
Best wishes
