This is an invitation to join us in Dundee for a one-day workshop on "Socio‐Technological Issues of Adaptive Interfaces and User Profiling for Accessibility"

Venue: University of Abertay, Dundee

Workshop outline:
Adaptive interfaces to information and communication technology provide potential to support people with dynamically changing accessibility requirements, particularly those with less severe sensory, cognitive and physical impairments - but who may be unaware of their own accessibility needs or the appropriate solution for them. But, in developing an automated or semi-automated accessibility adaptation system, a number of technical and social issues arise which need to be carefully and sensitively addressed.

This workshop intends to bring together researchers working in the area of adaptive interfaces and user profiling to share thoughts and views on how this approach to improving accessibility of ICTs can best be taken forward.
