Hello
I was under the impression that the mobile learn app was going to be
free; however there was the option to pay for an institutional 'branded'
version which will be costed.
There seems to be a variety of platforms offered but I did not notice
Windows Mobile 6.5+ offering

Hi Clive
I have had this continuing issue in the uk. Just awaiting confirmation
about what was going to be free here. The site has luckily been updated
since then. But I haven't had any contact from our contact regards cost.
So I get the impression they are either overloaded with queries or they
are not sure themselves yet.
Ty

Subject: Mobile Learn
Probably like me you will have received a promotional email from
Blackboard Mobile about an August launch for the UK.
I am concerned at the complete lack of any mention of the "no cost
version" offered in the US - There is also no indication of the likely
costs of licensing "mobile web access" to the product we already license
at significant cost.
Some of you may recall that I raised this issue at the conference here
but received an evasive answer.
We currently have bbsync which is provided free of charge and I wonder
if I am alone in thinking that mobile learn (presumably replacing this)
should at its base level also be included in our license costs.
I have written to our account manager seeking clarification and
indicating that we would expect at least the same level of free service
being offered in the USA
